Run a Polling @ McGill session from PowerPoint with Vevox
Vevox is McGill’s polling tool. You can integrate Vevox with PowerPoint to create live polls, quiz competitions, or Q&A sessions directly in your slides.
The Vevox add-in works on both Windows and Mac devices, but only with the desktop version of PowerPoint. The add-in does not work with the browser-based version of PowerPoint.
Install the Vevox for PowerPoint add-in (PC & Mac)
Open a slide deck in PowerPoint, go to the Home tab, and select Add-ins.
Search for Vevox and press the Add button.
Click the Continue button and agree to terms and conditions.

Vevox will be automatically added to PowerPoint, and you will see a Vevox button on the Home tab. If the Vevox button is not present, restart PowerPoint.

Add polls to your presentation
Select the Vevox button on the Home tab to open the Vevox sidebar.
Click the Get Started button, and when prompted to log in, click the Log in with Microsoft button.
Select an pre-existing session to add to your presentation, or press the + button to create a new session.
Select which pre-existing polls to add to your presentation and click Add slides, or create a new poll by clicking the + Create New button. A question slide and a results slide will be added to your presentation for each poll.
You may also choose to add a slide containing joining instructions or a leaderboard.
Control your Vevox session
The Vevox PowerPoint add-in for Windows works with Microsoft Office version 2208 or greater, and for Mac with Microsoft Office 16.64 or greater.
Watch the Getting Started with PowerPoint Polling video provided by Vevox.
Start your PowerPoint presentation. The polls questions will automatically appear on your question slides. When you are ready to display the results of each poll, advance to the results slide.
