Overview of classlists in myCourses
The Classlist tool in myCourses provides a list of all users in a course, including Students, Teaching Assistants and other roles. This list is automatically populated according to enrollment in Minerva, however, some students may appear under a different name in myCourses if they have set a Preferred Name.
The Classlist link is not visible to students.
You can view users' pronouns in the Classlist. They have to manually enable it in the Account Settings menu which appears after they click on their name in the top-right corner of the window.
You can quickly view groups and sections for a specific learner by going to to the Classlist tab in the Navbar. Click on the arrow next to the user name and select View groups and sections.
Students who are waitlisted in Minerva for a course are added as regular students to the course in myCourses. There is no indication in the Classlist in myCourses that these students are waitlisted; however, students are aware of this status because it appears to them in Minerva. They are added as regular students in Minerva as space becomes available for them in the course.
At the end of the course add/drop date, if there is no space available, all waitlisted students are dropped from the course in myCourses.
