Create a survey report
You may want your students to see how their scores compare to the rest of the class for a specific survey or question. You can release any of the above Survey Statistics to your students or teaching assistants using Reports.
On the main Surveys page, click on the name of the survey.
Click the Reports Setup tab.
Click Add Report.
Enter a Report Name.
Select one of the following Report Type options:
Summary Report: select the checkbox beside one or both of the following:
Show aggregate data: shows how many and what percentage of respondents chose each answer.
Show text responses: shows all responses to Short Answer, Fill in the Blanks, and Long Answer Questions.
Individual Attempts: shows each full survey attempt for all users. This option is not available for Anonymous surveys.
Hide user information: respondents appear as “User 1”, “User 2” instead of their names. This option is useful if you want to release a survey report to students without them knowing the respondents’ identities.
Release: select one of the following options for when you want users to be able to view the report:
immediately: select this option to allow users to view the report at any time. This is not recommended if you are releasing a report to students because they will be able to view the report before they have completed the survey (e.g. after the survey closes).
Select the radio button beside the date and enter an appropriate date and time for users to be able to view the survey report.
Release Report To: select the checkbox beside each role you want to release the report to. Make sure to select the Instructor role or else you will not be able to view the report yourself.
