Troubleshoot in Perusall
Issues with group sizes
Student groups are created when a file is uploaded to Perusall. On occasion, group sizes do not correspond to the settings that the instructor chose.
Fix this by Reshuffling groups:
On the course home page, select the Library tab and then select the file with groups you want to change.
Select the Groups button to show the current groups for the file.
Select the Reshuffle groups button at the bottom of the groups dialog. The groups will be arranged according to the instructor’s settings.
Be careful when changing the grouping settings for a course as students only see the comments of others in their group. Changing groups mid-course could confuse students because they will see a different set of comments for the file after you have made the change.
It is highly recommended to review the groups for an assigned reading before releasing the assignment to the students.
