Create and edit a quiz in myCourses
You can set up quizzes in myCourses for testing or practicing course material inside or outside of class. This article explains the options available to you when creating or editing quizzes. Some of these settings also apply to Surveys and Self assessments.
Create a quiz
On the Course Home page, click Quizzes on the course Navigation Bar. If this link is not available, you must edit your navigation bar to add it.
On the main Quizzes page, click New quiz.
Enter a Name. This is the only required field to create and save a quiz.
(Optional) Fill in the properties and restrictions of the quiz.
Click Save and close.
Edit a quiz
You can click on the quiz at any time in the list on the main Quizzes page to edit it.
You can also select the checkbox beside one or more quizzes in the list and click Bulk edit to quickly change the Name, Category, Status, and number of Attempts allowed for multiple quizzes.
Restore a quiz
You can restore deleted quizzes in myCourses and recover the quiz questions, properties, quiz attempts that were already taken, statistics, and scores.
In the Quiz section under the Manage quizzes tab click on More actions.
Select Restore. A list of deleted quizzes will appear.
Click the Restore button next to the quiz you want to recover.
