Manage rubric scores and feedback
While you are grading with a rubric, the scores, overall score and feedback are automatically generated based on how you set up your rubric and what levels you select for each criterion. You can override, edit and delete the automatic scores and feedback by selecting a different overall score and using the icons in the left column of the rubric. You can also hide the rubric scores from students.
Override an overall score
After selecting levels for each criterion, click on the score box in the Total score row.
You will be able to enter a new Total score that overrides the sum of the Criterion Score column.
Manually enter scores and feedback on a rubric
After selecting the levels for each criterion, click the Criterion Score box at the far-right - this will allow you to manually enter a new score.
The new score will appear along with an * to show it was modified manually.
To enter feedback manually, click on Add Feedback.
A box will appear below the criteria.
Enter the feedback directly.
Changes will be automatically saved. Click on Close to continue.
Delete scores and feedback on a rubric
Select Clear Override to delete manually-entered Criterion Scores and Total scores.
If feedback was entered for the criteria, click the X (at the far right of the feedback box) to clear the feedback.
Click on Save Draft.
View rubric statistics
You can view individual and overall statistics in an assessment when evaluating student's work. Click on the four-bar icon at the bottom of the collapsed Rubrics tile.

On the main Rubrics page, click the arrow beside the name of the rubric you want to modify and click Edit Options.
