Copy a Remote Learning Survey
To copy the Remote Learning Survey into your course in myCourses:
On the myCourses Home page, select the your course (or the name of the course that you want to copy components into).
On the Course Home page, select Course Admin on the navigation bar at the top.
Under Site Resources, select Import/Export/Copy Components.
On the Import/Export/Copy Components page, select Copy components from another Org Unit and make sure that there is a checkmark next to Include protected resources before you select Search for offering.
In the pop-up window that appears, type in “TLS - Shared Course Components“, then select Search.
Select the radio button next to course with Offering Name: “TLS - Shared Course Components“ and select Add Selected. It will appear as the “Course to Copy.“
Select Select Components (instead of Copy all Components) at the bottom.
Scroll down and select the checkbox beside Surveys.
Select the radio button Select individual items to copy below Surveys so you can specifically select the Remote Learning Survey and make sure there is a checkmark beside Include associated files or you will end up with broken links.
Select Continue at the bottom left corner of the page.
On the Select Surveys to Copy page, select the Expand All link to view all items available.
Select the checkbox beside Remote Learning Survey.
Select Continue.
On the next page, unselect the Offset Dates checkbox, then select Finish.
You will see an animated progress bar icon while it is being copied. Wait until the green checkmark icon appears.
Now that the Survey has finished copying, select Review and Manage Dates.
In the Remote Learning Survey table row, select the cell under the Start Date.
In the pop-up box, enter the Start Date and time and the End Date and time you want for the survey in your course. Select the checkbox next to Display in Calendar.
Select Save.
